Athena Lunsford joined Fairfield Homes, Inc. as the Director of Compliance in June 2023 and is responsible for Compliance efforts throughout our portfolio.
Prior to this role, Athena served as the Operations Section Chief of Program Compliance at the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA). There, she demonstrated exceptional leadership by guiding a team of 25 housing auditors and support staff to advance OHFA’s mission for ensuring an affordable place to call home for all. Beginning her career at the Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority, Athena has amassed over 20 years of experience in housing management with roles including Housing Choice Voucher Manager, Leasing Supervisor, Occupancy Coordinator, and Leasing Specialist.
Athena’s dedication to affordable housing is supported through her many certifications including HCCP, SCHM, NDC Rental Housing Development Finance Certification, HCV Specialist, HCV Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist, HQS Inspection, PH Manager, PH Eligibility and Rent Calculations, Project Based Management Essentials Specialist, and Fair Housing and Administrative Review Training.
